Despite paying the highest tax rate of any industry in the state, the Georgia legislature is considering whether or not to remove the COAM industry’s current sales tax-exempt status. GAMOA has led the fight to retain this status, which was recently upheld by the Georgia Supreme Court, but your involvement from this point forward is critical to the viability of our industry.
